Apple Pie Contest is a "GO!" for tomorrow, 10/14/17

We've reviewed the weather and determined this year's Phelps Annual Apple Pie Contest can be run successfully tomorrow. Remember all apple pies/apple desserts must be submitted by 9:45am, be made all-from-scratch by the participant entering the contest, that only one submission is permitted per household, that a full list of ingredients is required (no measurements requested) and to bring the $5 Entry Fee. Winners are announced at 11:00am, and all pies are sold by the slice soon after. See you at the Market!

We're proud to announce that for a fourth year in a row (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017) the Pleasantville Farmers Market has been voted Best Of Westchester by the readers of Westchester Magazine. We'd like to thank the more than 56 new and returning farmers and food artisans who bring healthful, regionally produced food to our community, and the thousands of people who come each month to support local agriculture, patronize neighboring businesses, shop for their families, and enjoy the delicious good time. Whether you voted for us this year or not, we promise to continue to create an experience worthy of your support.

The Pleasantville Farmers Market, the largest, year-round farmers market in the region, is located right in the center of Westchester County, in the heart of a beautiful, historic walking village -- perfectly positioned on your way to your destination or better yet, as a destination in itself.

Visit the Market on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. And please, we ask even our most eager early birds to adhere to the 8:30 am start to allow our vendors the opportunity to prepare.

Also, please be aware that the Pleasantville Farmers Market is a dog-free environment.
